How to use the lamp:

Roll the wick in your hands until it is thin and long. Gently pull the wick through the top hole of the long wick tube and pull the wick from the other side down.

Leave about 1/2 inch of wick exposed at the top of the hole. Fill the lamp with oil at least 2/3 of the way up (any oil, e.g. sesame or vegetable** is fine) and then light the exposed wick with a match.

You can use tweezers to adjust the wick* (the more you pull the wick up, the greater the flame) or gently remove pieces of the used wick. Top up the oil and adjust the wick as needed.

*If you don't have soft wicks, you can also use cotton wicks in a string.

**Personally, I use olive oil.
